Grantwriting Series Part 2: Crafting a Resource Roadmap
Join us for one or all of our four-part Grant writing Series.
As the funding landscape continues to shift across the United States, grant writers are navigating increasing competition, changing funder expectations, and ongoing uncertainty in public funding streams. These changes are forcing nonprofits and grant professionals to rethink strategies, diversify funding sources, and respond quickly in an increasingly complex environment.
Join fellow nonprofit professionals for a grantwriting workshop focused on establishing an operating budget for the purpose of receiving grant funding.
Part 2: Crafting a Resource Roadmap for Nonprofit Fundraising
Students will:
- Create an annual fund development plan detailing the source of each philanthropic revenue line item on the operating budget
- Formulate strategies for each revenue source: specify who is responsible, the timeline, required resources, targeted prospects, etc.
- Learn how to help their nonprofit "win it on paper", prioritizing their efforts, communicate with executive leadership and the board, and engage staff members in the broader picture
