Grantwriting Series Part 4: The Research and Relationships Needed to Fund Your Agency
Join us for one or all of our four-part Grant writing Series.
As the funding landscape continues to shift across the United States, grant writers are navigating increasing competition, changing funder expectations, and ongoing uncertainty in public funding streams. These changes are forcing nonprofits and grant professionals to rethink strategies, diversify funding sources, and respond quickly in an increasingly complex environment.
Join fellow nonprofit professionals for a grant writing workshop focused on establishing an operating budget for the purpose of receiving grant funding.
Students will:
- Create an ideal profile to search for a staff or contract grantwriter (and learn about the pros and cons of each option)
- Identify existing staff or volunteers who have the characteristics and skills of a good grant writer
- Learn tactical steps to manage a contract grantwriting relationship or support staff grant writers toward greater success
- Identify donor research, cultivation, and stewardship strategies to manage grant relationships.
