As a valued Nonprofit Connect member, you're invited to this complimentary workshop!
Join Nonprofit Connect for a session on the updates and developments happening at the federal level and how nonprofits can stay engaged.
The 119th Congress is well underway and there are many priorities for nonprofits, the House and Senate, the President, and other sectors. Tax policy is a top agenda item, but charitable nonprofits will also be defending key protections and rights, like nonprofit nonpartisanship and charitable giving incentives, while advocating for improved incentives, streamlined employment tax credits, and more.
In addition, dozens of Executive Orders have been signed that cover a broad range of issues. The implications vary from immediately taking effect to immediately being challenged in court. Nonprofits with federal grants and contracts have received notices from federal agencies and face uncertainty with this funding source. There is also pending litigation to make sure nonprofits can continue their work and prevent a funding freeze from affecting communities.
You are encouraged to submit questions in advance, and we will answer as many of them as possible during the presentation and in the Q&A session.
*You will be prompted to submit your question(s) during the registration process.*
