Volunteer to support students in KCK's urban core
After-school and in-school volunteering tutoring and literacy boost activities with students in KCK
Learning Club is seeking volunteers to tutor students one hour a week after-school or in-school in KCK's urban core. Tutors primarily help students with homework, read together, or play educational games. We meet students at their reading and skill level and build on their abilities. There is no level of math knowledge or teaching experience required for tutors.
Individuals interested in volunteering must be willing to commit to once weekly sessions during the semester when school is in session. Learning Club Our tutors consistently report making a difference in our students' lives and form meaningful, lasting relationships with students.
