Youth Programs
Our youth programs serve students in 5th–12th grade from across the Kansas City metro, providing a safe and welcoming space where they can have fun, build friendships, learn new things and experience life beyond their phones.
This program is important because it gives youth something positive and engaging to do outside of school while creating a space where they can feel safe, seen, heard and involved. Students get to participate in fun games and activities, build friendships and learn what it means to serve and care for others.
Through these experiences, our programs help youth strengthen their social skills, confidence and character while exposing them to new opportunities, experiences and ways to learn about their culture, community and the world around them.
As a volunteer, you’ll jump right into the fun by playing games, joining activities, helping with lessons, serving alongside students and simply being a positive presence. You don’t need any special skills. Just come ready to engage, encourage, listen and have fun!
