Volunteer Opportunities

Thanksgiving morning is almost here and we need your help to make this holiday tradition a success! In the spirit of giving, build up your appetite and join us for a couple hours on the morning of Thursday, November 27th at the Aspiria Campus in Overland Park. The 5K starts at 9am with lots of volunteer positions still available. Krispy Kreme and volunteer shirt provided! Give back for a few hours and be home before football even kicks off. It's a fun, meaningful way to start the day before the feast!

Transformation Visitation Home (TVH) is a young, growing nonprofit dedicated to supporting families navigating the court system. We provide safe, welcoming spaces for supervised visits and wraparound services that strengthen family bonds, reduce trauma, and foster resilience. TVH is seeking passionate leaders to join our Board of Directors and help guide our mission as we continue to gain traction and expand our impact in the community.

Waldo Area Business Association is looking for people interested in joining the WABA Board

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are appointed by the judges in each county to advocate for the best interests of a child in foster care. CASAs meet with the child or children on a regular basis, consult with professionals, including the foster care workers, attorneys, and schools, as well as gather information from family members and foster placements. CASAs spend an average of 10-12 hours per month on their assigned case.
