Posted: 03/05/14 Under the general direction of the CEO, the Grant Writer will manage and coordinate the grant proposal development process, identify and research private, public and government sources of funding, write, edit, and proofread funding proposals to obtain funds for on-going or new programs and for special projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in a related discipline with a minimum of five years of experience and a track record in grant writing and program development. Qualified candidates should possess excellent writing skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and database management skills. Previous experience will demonstrate a proven track record in securing new funding opportunities. Primary responsibility will include preparation of proposal and grant applications, as well as, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities.
