Job Overview:
The Credentialing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting IAAP's Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) program and other credentialing initiatives. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service, processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various aspects of the credentialing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
• Respond to customer service inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Provide accurate and timely information about CAP and other credentialing programs
• Assist candidates and designees with questions regarding application processes, recertification, and program requirements
2. Application Processing
• Process CAP applications efficiently and accurately
• Review application materials for completeness and compliance with program requirements
• Communicate with applicants regarding missing information or additional documentation needed
3. Recertification Support
• Process recertification applications for CAP designees
• Track and verify continuing education credits and professional development activities
• Provide guidance on recertification requirements and deadlines
4. Database Management
• Perform regular data updates in the credentialing database
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of candidate and designee records
• Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed
5. Communications Support
• Collaborate on CAP communications, including email notifications, reminders, and program updates
• Assist in preparing and distributing credentialing-related materials
6. General Credentialing Support
• Provide administrative support for credentialing department initiatives and projects
• Assist with preparation for credentialing-related meetings and events
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of credentialing processes and procedures
Qualifications:
• CAP designation preferred; if not currently held, must be earned within 18 months of employment
• Two years of previous administrative and customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability for up to 5% domestic travel.

Wages: $50,000 annually or ~$24 per hour
