Identify, cultivate, and steward annual, major, corporate, and planned gift donors.
Build a robust donor pipeline to support mission fulfillment.
Develop and implement innovative initiatives to increase philanthropic revenue.
Manage a portfolio of existing donors to maintain strong relationships.
Accurately record donor and prospect information in Little Green Light.
Maintain up-to-date research material, engagement plans, and contact reports.
?Stay current with local and national fundraising trends and best practices.
Ensure proper recognition and acknowledgment of sponsors and donors.
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to secure sponsorships and donations.
Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and donors.
Develop and manage a sponsorship program, including creating attractive packages.
Lead the planning and implementation of special fundraising events.
Marketing and Communications:
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create effective donor engagement materials.
Maintain the organization's website with updated event and program information.
Develop promotional materials, such as flyers, letters, brochures, and fundraising content.
Conduct facility tours as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Actively participate in internal meetings, including event planning, administrative leadership, and board meetings.
Proven experience in fundraising, with a focus on donor cultivation and stewardship.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with individuals and organizations.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Public speaking experience.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends.
Proficiency in donor database management systems (e.g., Little Green Light).
A passion for the mission of Lee's Summit Social Services.
This position may require evening and weekend hours to attend events and meetings.
Travel may be required for donor visits and meetings.
