Philanthropy Engagement Manager
The Philanthropy Engagement Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all prospect, donor engagement and event communications to increase and retain philanthropic support to NKC Health. Specifically, this position, in partnership with vendors, is responsible for setting the department's overall annual giving strategy in conjunction with the senior leadership of the department with the goal of improving prospect acquisition, donor retention and strengthening the overall affinity towards NKC Health. As a part of the overall annual giving program, this position will also have oversight of the annual employee giving campaign, signature event and other recognition events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and execute a multi-channel annual giving program, working collaboratively with internal and external partners for program implementation including marketing and outside vendor partners.

Manage and execute the health system annual employee giving campaign, including recruiting campaign champions, collaborating with campaign chairs, developing collateral with marketing team, etc.

Monitor and analyze annual giving trends, regularly assess annual giving program and propose performance improvements.

Coordinate donor stewardship efforts to retain and encourage repeat and increased giving year-over-year.

Coordinate and implement philanthropy annual signature event

Work directly with event vendors on day-to-day event management tasks

Develop and monitor timelines for implementation

Responsible for event volunteer recruitment and management.

Support department directors with other projects as assigned.

Manage tribute giving
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years experience in annual giving fundraising or event management. Donor CRM experience (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.)
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent project management and communication skills. Highly motivated and well organized. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Excellent research, follow-through, analytical problem-solving and presentation skills.
OTHER: Strong commitment to the mission, vision and values of NKC Health. Experience in a team-based cross functional work environment. Ability to adhere to all HIPAA regulations and donor confidentiality requirements.
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Related Field
