Specialist, Development Operations

What You’ll Do

As the Specialist, Development Operations, you will play a vital role in supporting the museum’s fundraising efforts by ensuring data quality and integrity. You will handle timely and accurate data processing, including contributions, biographical updates, and prospect research.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage donor data in our CRM system (Tessitura preferred).
  • Ensure accurate handling of transactional receipts and deposits.
  • Develop reports and spreadsheets to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams to uphold fundraising best practices in a nonprofit setting.
  • Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders with professionalism.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of donor-centric experience in a nonprofit setting.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, Excel, and Word; Tessitura preferred.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to process data, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Proven skills in building relationships and working cross-functionally.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Cultural Awareness: A commitment to inclusion, equity, and integrity.
  • A passion for the arts and a dedication to advancing the museum’s mission.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary:
Starting range: $46,762 - $52,653
