Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA) is an ISACS-accredited, independent K-12 Jewish day school located in Overland Park, Kansas. We are seeking a Middle and Upper School Hebrew Teacher to join our team of excellent educators. The MS/US Hebrew Teacher will collaborate with teachers, students, and administrators on creating Hebrew proficiency through teaching various materials in a creative setting that allows our students to connect to the culture and master the language. The MS/US Hebrew Teacher will report directly to the US Principal and Director of Jewish Education. This will be a full-time job.

Qualifications

  • MUST be a native and fluent Hebrew speaker

  • College degree, with preference for education and/or Masters

  • Have experience working with Middle and Upper school students

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited to computers, telephones, copy machines, facsimiles, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods are common.
