(CSE) is a small 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded on the vision of building a world where every person realizes their true purpose and power to create a legacy for the next generation. CSE’s mission is to support healthy development for high school students and emerging adults (ages 18-30) during the critical transition from adolescence to adulthood.

CSE executes its mission by providing comprehensive educational programs, delivered in an adaptive learning ecosystem, with personalized coaching, and innovative training solutions that are tailor-made. CSE’s signature competency-based developmental training model for young adults, their families, and practitioners is adaptable and scalable for partner agencies and organizations working to address racial equity disparities regarding health and wealth generation.

The Program and Instructional Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing CSE’s mission and empowering the financial health and wellness of emerging adults, their families, and communities.

Position Overview:

The Program and Instructional Manager (PIM) is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of educational programs, curriculum, and training content, combining strategic program management with pedagogical expertise. They will work to educate and train emerging adults and other community stakeholders. In this role, the PIM may be responsible for creating and delivering training programs, developing instructional materials and resources. They will analyze learning needs, develop, and evaluate program effectiveness to improve teaching methods and learner outcomes. The PIM will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of programs, making recommendations for improvement, and supporting the roll-out of large-scale key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Program Management: Provide direct support to ensure the effective delivery of CSE’s financial health and wellness programs. Coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with instructional design principles, assessments and evaluation methodologies.
  2. Curriculum Design: Evaluate and refine educational content and instructional strategies. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, content and materials that support program goals. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure that training programs are up-to-date and relevant with the latest technology and digital tools.
  3. Instructional Leadership: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, utilizing various instructional methods and technologies. Work with stakeholders and strategic partners to understand the specific training needs and organizational goals. Develop and implement training programs, including the design and delivery of workshops, webinars, and other instructional materials.
  4. Data Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure maximum impact. Use metrics to assess the impact of instructional programs and driving improvements based on results. Analyze program data, compile evaluation information for research, publications, reports. Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for training programs and evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, public administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in program management, education, or instructional design, preferably with youth or emerging adult populations.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, UDL, Backward Design, MPI), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and curriculum mapping software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of learning theories and pedagogical approaches.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with assessment and evaluation methods
  • Innovative mindset and ability to think creatively
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Capacity to adapt to changing organizational needs and demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills and social media savvy. The ability to work with the latest GenAI educational and organizational tools (e.g. Perplexity, Copilot, etc.)
  • Ability to travel and work evenings or weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $40,000 to $65,500 annually,
Commensurate with experience; Benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
