Little Learners Childhood Connections is seeking a Fiscal Officer to lead financial operations for our state- and federally funded Head Start program. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and long-term sustainability while supporting services for children and families in our communities.

Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience
- $3,000 sign-on bonus:
- $1,000 on first paycheck
- $1,000 after 90 days
- $1,000 after 6 months
- Hybrid schedule opportunity available (up to 4 days remote/1 day in-office) available after successful completion of an initial onboarding period (approximately 6 months).

What You’ll Do
- Lead all accounting and financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and cost allocation
- Develop and manage organizational budgets
- Ensure compliance with federal and state grant requirements, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)
- Prepare and present financial reports to leadership, Board of Directors, and funders
- Coordinate audits and financial reporting requirements
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions
- Supervise and support fiscal staff
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of financial management experience
- Experience with grant-funded programs, including budget management and compliance
- Knowledge of federal grant requirements (Uniform Guidance and cost principles)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
