POSITION SUMMARY:
Successfully promote and support the mission of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas as guided by the Catholic Social Teachings by ensuring agency compliance regarding Government and private grants facilitated by Mission Programs Operations. Provides oversight of grant activities and guides program staff in accordance with grant provisions. Leads data analysis activities, ensuring that the appropriate data is captured accurately to support grant reporting, program and agency strategy. EEO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage all government and private grants, serving as the internal expert on compliance, including but not limited to program deliveries for HUD, Asset Development, Workforce and RMS
- Leads a cross-functional compliance committee including staff from grants, program operations, accounting and data analysis to identify and solve for potential areas of compliance risk; remain informed of all compliance changes, activities and identify trends
- Provide regular compliance updates to senior leaders and program staff, partnering to implement processes that ensure compliance across grant-funded programs
- Provide training on compliance policies and procedures, particularly for new staff and to keep program staff up-to-date on changes, challenges and expectations
- Manage the data analysis team to ensure that data management systems support agency objectives, including program outcomes for grant compliance and service objectives
- Ensure all necessary datapoints are captured accurately and reportable in order to support compliance of grant-specific outcomes and program objectives as well as analysis for data-driven decisions
- Conduct analysis of data and provide recommendations to key leaders
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures with best practices around compliance, including file checklists or sample files for each program, and maintains documentation of contracts and grants in collaboration with programs
- Design and execute monitoring processes to include file audits, assessments and documenting results, preparing for audits of government grants
- Manage feedback assessments from program staff, clients, and community partners to evaluate program effectiveness through, but not limited to, focus groups, advisory boards, surveys, interviews, etc.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrate a passion for the mission of Catholic Charities
- Must be willing to perform by the agency’s values: love, patience, kindness, faithfulness, self- control and joy

- Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and any ongoing training as required
- 3-5 years of experience in Grants Management, Compliance, Administering HUD Funding, or program experience implementing government grants
- BS in Social Service field or other degree with commensurate work experience in social services
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively in an environment that is very diverse
- Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri Driver’s license, dependable transportation, current vehicle insurance and a verified safe driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing, bending and moving
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- May be exposed to infectious diseases
- Must have the physical ability to make visits to a variety of environments that may include walking on rough terrain and climbing stairs
- Must have physical ability to effectively communicate with others
- Must have the physical ability and appropriate licensure for driving
